A patio is only as good as what’s under it. We dig out, lay a compacted sub-base and set every slab on a full mortar bed, so it stays level, drains properly and looks right for years.
How we do it
- We mark out the patio with you and agree levels and falls.
- The ground is dug out and a compacted sub-base laid.
- Slabs are laid on a full mortar bed and cut neatly around edges and drains.
- Joints are pointed, and everything is cleaned down before we leave.

How long does a patio take?
A typical back-garden patio takes four to seven working days.
Porcelain or sandstone?
Porcelain is easier to keep clean. Sandstone has more natural variation. We bring samples to the quote visit.
Can you add lighting?
Yes. We can lay the cable runs during the build and fit low-voltage lights.
